GALE

Gale, human as he appears, finds his origins as a combat-trained AI in a computer simulation called "The Junkyard." He is also a strategist, and as such, is very calm, methodical, and organized. He plays host to an elemental demon called an Atma.

APPEARANCE

Striking features include his height (6'3"), vivid-green hair/eyes, and the "tattoo" or Twister mark on his calf, which is frequently covered by his pants. Physically, Gale is very fit, but not overly-muscular. His skin is the kind of pale that burns quick'n'easy in too much direct sunlight. His present wardrobe is very spare: usually black and grey like his former uniform. Simple cuts. Pants, simple shirts, sweaters, and heavy coats. His trademark hood (unless otherwise noted) is always perched on his head.

Age-wise, he appears to be somewhere in his late twenties, or early thirties. His physical age is quite a bit younger.

PERSONALITY

As stated above, Gale is known for his calm, logic, and organization. He is not quick to anger, and he has a very firm sense of honor and morality. Around strangers he can come off as a stiff, cold kind of guy, but when he's comfortable enough with another person, he'll open up quite a bit. Even laugh on occasion.

CANON HISTORY

Within the Junkyard, Gale held the strategist's position within the Embryon tribe, the sole purpose of which was to wage war against opposing tribes. Eventually, all of the soldiers within the battle simulation were forcibly infected with Atma, or to put it simply: cannibalistic demon alter-egos. These served as a fresh way to wage war, and the stalemate between the tribes came to an end as they sated their hungry demons on their enemies' flesh.

Gale and the Embryon eventually emerged victorious from the bloody conflict, but the only reward that awaited them was the deletion of the Junkyard (quite literally) beneath their feet. From there, Gale awoke in the Nexus.

NEXUS HISTORY

After a slow and awkward period of acclimatization, Gale forged new alliances within the Nexus. Friendships, to be less formal. He found his way to Old Portland, the reality outside of the Junkyard, and with the help of the reunited Embryon and others, they relocated the remaining human survivors to a safer world. The strategist also participated in saving [a] Raccoon City from an outbreak, and offered small assistance in defeating the cult leader, Osmund Saddler. All the while, he has been struggling with keeping his Atma safely satisfied and under control. This was the inspiration for the Atma suppressant called "Vorapate," which he developed with some success. Lately, the drug hasn't been working, though . . .
